It has been reported in the West Sussex Times that a man in his 50s was airlifted to hospital after falling from a roof in Rusper, near Horsham, on Monday February 13.
The workman fell from a ladder while carrying out repair work to a television aerial in Lambs Green, Sussex. Emergency services were called to the scene around 3pm where the patient was found to be unconscious with serious head and chest injuries.
Following emergency treatment by paramedics from Sussex Air Ambulance the workman was flown to a specialist neurology centre at King’s College Hospital in London.
Sussex Police arrived on the scene at 5.15 before the incident was reported to the Health and Safety Executive.
A spokesperson for the force said the man remains in ‘serious condition and is receiving treatment for a head injury’ .
